USING FLIPGRID AS ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIO IN SPEAKING ASSESSMENT

<p class="Abstract"> </p><p class="abstrak">Given the prolonged pandemic situation that forced schools to run online in both synchronous and asynchronous modes has impacted some changes either teaching practice or conducting assessment. With limited timetable provided each school subject, there is a significant adjustment teachers should take make learning meaningful, not mention assessing students’ learning. In English as Foreign Language (EFL) setting, speaking another challenge encounter specifically during teaching. Consequently, are required have specific strategies manage this assessment still. Electronic portfolio-based been shown serve an effective tool tool. Hence, study was aimed investigate use of Flipgrid electronic portfolio speaking. The qualitative design applied with students' scores, teacher’s field notes, questionnaires instruments collect data. This expected describe washback portfolios assessment.</p><p class="abstrak"><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Situasi pandemi yang berkelanjutan telah memaksa setiap sekolah untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring baik secara <em>synchronous</em> maupun <em>asynchronous</em>. Hal ini berdampak pada berubahnya praktik mengajar dan penilaian dalam pembelajaran. Dengan jadwal terbatas mata pelajaran, guru harus dapat melakukan penyesuaian signifikan membuat proses kegiatan belajar menjadi berarti, begitu pula dengan hasil siswa. Pada bahasa Inggris sebagai asing, keterampilan berbicara tantangan tersendiri bagi para khususnya saat daring. Sebagai konsekuensinya, memiliki strategi tertentu mengelola Penilaian berbasis portofolio elektronik menunjukkan bahwa digunakan alat efektif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian bertujuan menelaah penggunaan Bahasa Inggris. Pendekatan adalah pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan nilai siswa, catatan lapangan guru, kuesioner instrumen mengumpulkan Penelitian diharapkan mendeskripsikan dampak Inggris.</p><p> </p>
